Here are the 4 steps you could add to your to-do to a better life: This time and age is the era of depressed souls. Every other person we come across has some traumatic stories to tell. Some are coping with stress for their studies while some are in low spirits due to their recent breakup. This quote would surely suffice to sum up all this,  “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.”


Since this time is all about social media, we can't get away with the constant use of social media; where what we see are the photoshopped models with a perfect figure and edited life of people on Instagram and Facebook. This all naturally cause us to compare our lives with theirs and feels unsatisfied with what we are blessed with.




Here are the 4 steps you could add to your to-do to a better life.


1. SELF LOVE

The term self-love actually expresses regard for one’s own well-being and satisfaction. Often we busy ourselves too much into education/work that we neglect taking care of our own selves. So my advice is to go avail that mani-pedi offer in the salon; get yourself that pricey dress you think is too formal to carry at work.


2. FOCUS ON YOUR GOALS

When you are focused on what you should be doing, you are satisfied within. It is when you do your work on time you actually get to relish your leisure time then. The first thing you do when you free, get that job/project done.


3. BE NUMBER ONE TO YOU

What you prioritize is a meaningful act you do. No matter what, put yourself at first priority. Never ever let anybody use you or let somebody treat you wrong. The attitude you carry will tell people how to treat you. If you respect yourself enough, then others will do the same.


4. FOCUS ON YOUR HAPPINESS

Moderately similar to the self-love, it is your own job to put up with this one. When you place your happiness into external things such as people and their opinion, you will always take everything way too personally, and it will ruin your whole day sometimes.
